Sherwin-Williams Pension Plan (RPP) - Salaried

The Sherwin-Williams  Canada Inc. Salaried Employees’ Retirement Plan III (The Plan) is a Registered Pension Plan (RPP) which can help you accumulate funds for your retirement. You make no contributions to this Plan

All contributions to your account are made by the Company if you meet the eligibility requirements.

Eligibility

As a regular full-time or regular part-time employee of the Company, you are eligible to participate in the Plan the first of the month following completion of one year of continuous service. Enrollment in the RPP is automatic once you are eligible.

Company Contribution

Sherwin-Williams will contribute 4% of your regular base salary including bonuses and overtime.

Vesting

Vesting gives you ownership of the funds in your Plan account. That means you can take your vested account balance with you when you leave the Company. You are always 100% vested in the Company contributions immediately.

Your Investments In RPP Pension Plan

You can direct the investment of all your contributions in the various Plans. The Plans offer a wide variety of funds from which to select, representing all of the primary asset classes (short-term investments, bonds and stocks). Since fund options can change, you will be provided with a complete list of available fund options once you are eligible to participate in the Plan. You can change the investment of your contributions on any business day.
